Our client is a shipbuilding company founded in 1987 in northwestern France, starting with the production of various types of vessels, such as trawlers, transoceanic yachts, coast guard boats and other ships for various purposes. Currently, due to its dynamic development.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, cutting and fitting of structural elements
  • Reading blueprints and marking on metal structures
  • Assembly, tack welding and installation of structures (hulls, decks, reinforcements, etc.)
  • Use of grinder, torch, and welding equipment (basic welding)
  • Checking alignments and adjustments before final welding
  • Compliance with safety regulations in industrial/marine environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marine carpentry
  • Knowledge of welding and grinding tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings is essential
  • Able to work independently while following safety instructions
  • Dynamic, precise and motivated

We offer:

  • Salary ~€14/hour gross depending on experience
  • Base working time: 40h per week
  • Accommodation in a single room
  • French employment contract
  • Possibility of overtime
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses – 3 times per year up to €250
  • Salary paid into the account before the 12th of each month
  • Option for weekly advances
  • Support from a French-speaking coordinator
