The offer
Our client is an international company specializing in aircraft refurbishment, operating across 13 countries on 4 continents. Due to securing new contracts, they are looking for skilled professionals to help carry them out in France.
Key responsibilities
The role involves aircraft surface preparation for painting (paint stripping/coating removal, masking, sanding, degreasing), which accounts for approximately 70% of the work, as well as applying paint coatings, anti-corrosion treatments, primers, basecoats, and clearcoats using hydropneumatic systems and gravity-feed spray guns. Duties also include performing touch-ups and paint corrections on applied coatings.
Work is carried out in a heated hangar, where the company is currently painting Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. Next to the current workspace, they are also building a second hangar capable of accommodating such large aircraft, making them the only company in Europe able to work on two aircraft of this type at the same time and place, offering great opportunities for overtime.
Requirements
- Experience in spray painting in a similar position,
- Willingness to work at heights,
- Good physical fitness.
Nice to have (not required):
- Driver's license,
- Knowledge of English or French.
