Conventional and/or CNC lathe operator (Any gender)

As part of a temporary assignment, we are recruiting a Lathe operator (m/f) for our industrial client based in Port-Jérôme-sur-Seine.

You will join a demanding production environment where precision and thoroughness are essential to every task. As an experienced Lathe operator, you will operate and set up lathes, ensuring the quality and compliance of machined parts.

Your expertise with Caseneuve and Somab lathes will be a decisive asset to meet the technical requirements of the position and ensure production continuity.

We are looking for a motivated, meticulous individual with a solid technical background in lathe machining.

Required experience:

• At least 5 years of experience as a CNC or conventional lathe operator.
  Experience exclusively in conventional turning without CNC is not a barrier!

Essential technical skills:

• Proficiency with Caseneuve and Somab lathes.
• Ability to perform machine setups independently.
• Familiarity with production setup and series manufacturing runs.
• Ability to perform dimensional inspections on machined parts.

• Rigor and attention to detail during part production.
• Responsiveness and availability, which are vital in a temporary staffing environment.
• Autonomy and the ability to integrate quickly into an existing team.
• Strict compliance with safety guidelines and quality procedures.

• Operate and set up Caseneuve and Somab lathes in accordance with manufacturing instructions.

• Identify deviations and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized and comply with safety rules in force.
