The offer
As part of the business growth of our client, a company specializing in electrical renovation work, we are looking for a Renovation Electrician (Any gender) to work on various job sites in Le Havre and the surrounding area. Reporting to the site manager or works supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out installation, renovation, and compliance work on electrical equipment, in both residential and commercial premises.
Profile
Training and experience:
– Vocational qualification (CAP, BEP, or vocational Baccalaureate) in electrical work or equivalent.
– At least 2 years of experience in electrical work, ideally in renovation.
– Proficient in wiring, connection, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
– Good knowledge of current electrical standards, particularly NF C 15-100.
– Skills and qualities: Strong proficiency with electrical tools and equipment.
– Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
– Self-reliant, thorough, and well-organized.
– Team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
– Strict adherence to safety regulations and deadlines.
Desired authorizations:
– Electrical safety certifications suited to the assigned work (B1V, B2V, BR, BC depending on the role).
- Category B driving license preferred for travel between job sites.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities:
– Carry out renovation and upgrading work on electrical installations.
– Remove old electrical installations and replace outdated equipment.
– Pull and route electrical cables (flush-mounted, surface-mounted, or in conduits/trunking).
– Install cable trays, conduits, power outlets, and switches.
– Assemble and connect electrical distribution boards/panels.
– Carry out wiring and connections for electrical equipment.
– Fit and connect light fixtures and lighting systems.
– Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
– Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs.
– Conduct testing, inspections, and compliance checks on installations.
– Comply with health and safety guidelines and current electrical standards.
– Keep the work site clean and organized.
