Aircraft painter (Any gender)

Our client is an international company specializing in the refurbishment of aircraft, with branches in 13 countries across 4 continents. Due to the acquisition of new projects, they are looking for professionals to support their operations in France.

Responsibilities

The work involves preparing aircraft for painting (removing old coatings, masking, sanding, degreasing), which accounts for approximately 70% of the role, as well as applying paint coatings—anti-corrosive agents, primers, base coats, and clear coats—using hydropneumatic methods and gravity-feed spray guns. The employee will also be responsible for carrying out touch-ups on applied coatings.

Work is performed in a heated hangar where the company is currently painting Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. A second hangar capable of accommodating such large machines is currently being built next to the current workspace, which will make them the only company in Europe capable of working on two such aircraft simultaneously in the same location—this offers the opportunity for overtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a painter in a similar role,
• Willingness to work at heights,
• High level of physical fitness.

Preferred (but not required):

• Driving license,
• Knowledge of English or French.
