Aircraft painter (Any gender)

Our client is an international company specializing in the refurbishment of aircraft, with branches in 13 countries across 4 continents. Due to new projects, they are looking for skilled professionals to join their team in France.

Responsibilities

The role involves the preparation of aircraft for painting (stripping old coatings, masking, sanding, degreasing), which accounts for approximately 70% of the work, as well as the application of paint coatings – including anti-corrosive agents, primers, base coats, and clear coats – using airless spray and cup guns. The employee will also be responsible for carrying out touch-ups on applied coatings.

Work takes place in a heated hangar where the company is currently painting Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. A second hangar, capable of housing such large machines, is currently under construction next to the site. This will make them the only company in Europe able to work on two such aircraft simultaneously at the same location, offering potential for overtime.

Requirements

• Experience as a painter in a similar role,
• Willingness to work at heights,
• Good physical fitness.

Preferred (but not required):

• Driving license,
• Knowledge of English or French.
