Responsibilities

The tasks of the person employed as a plastics assembly technician will include:

• Operating CNC milling machines with the Heidenhain system,
• Setting up CNC machines for specific machining processes,
• Selecting tools and cutting parameters in accordance with technical documentation,
• Verifying dimensions of finished components using measuring tools,
• Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing improvements to machining processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience working with CNC milling machines,
• Ability to select tools and cutting parameters,
• Proficiency with Heidenhain controls,
• Ability to read technical drawings,

• Ability to use measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.,

Preferred:

• Experience in the aerospace, defense, or precision metal machining industries,
• Experience in machining aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, or other difficult-to-machine materials.
