Shipyard fitter – black steel (Any gender)

Our client specializes in manufacturing vessels for the coast guard and the military. They prioritize the high quality standards required by the defense industry. They are currently seeking experienced hull fitters to work on their ongoing projects.

Key responsibilities

The employee’s tasks will include the prefabrication and assembly of vessel components based on technical drawings and blueprints. Work is performed entirely on black steel of various thicknesses. The shipyard focuses exclusively on new builds and does not perform repairs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a shipyard fitter,
• Ability to read technical drawings,
• Spot welding skills.

Nice to have (but not required):

• Driving license,
• Knowledge of English or French.

• Salary of €3,250 net per month for a 43-hour work week,
